Music The Wizard of Oz film is celebrating its 71st birthday today (12th August).
Almost everyone knows this magical musical film, and who could forget Glinder, the Good Witch, who looked like a fairy! Or those ruby red glittering slippers worn by Judy Garland (Dorothy) that helped her to return home to Kansas. Not forgetting the Tin Man, the Lion, Scarecrow, the Wicked Witch and lovely little Toto too! – yes there are many memories from this film, and it will remain in the heart of FAE for ever – Happy birthday Wizard of Oz!

Wishing the magical musical songstress Kate Bush a beautiful birthday. May her music continue to bless our lives. There’s a campaign on Facebook where members feature a line from a Kate Bush song in their status. It’s so lovely to see so many of the songers lyrics, and to see images of Kate Bush in her fantastic outfits, and also to be reminded of the talented one-of-a kind musician and singer. FAE loves you Kate Bush 🙂
Eco Faeries Unleashed is an adults only event. On election night the wild creatures of Perth come out to play….. come out come out wherever you are…
This event is all about the music- live bands to DJ’s stimulated by digital media three wall simultaneous screening, visual performances by burlesque, bellydance, live bodypainting art, drumming and interactive activities.

The latest CD from mythic faerie band, Woodland was launched on the summer Solstice at the 3 Wishes Faery Fest in Cornwall.
The band performed songs from the new album, Seasons in Elfland: Shadows in two magical performances at the faery festival on Cornwall’s Bodmin Moor.
Seasons in Elfland: Shadows explores the dark side of the seasonal wheel and includes guest appearances by the German pagan folk band, Faun, ethereal-gothic singer Priscilla Hernandez, Australian songstress Louisa John-Krol, Sigrid Hausen of the German band Qntal, Spanish pianist Hector Corcin, UK artist Wendy Froud and ghost cellist Adam Hurst and more. The album features original cover artwork by UK faerie artist and Woodland collaborator Brian Froud, and the disc includes original artwork by Welsh knotwork artist Jen Delyth.
