Rumour has it that the Pirates of the Caribbean star, Johnny Depp, has been spotted in West Cornwall. The Sun newspaper recently reported that Mr Depp will be in Cornwall to film the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

There is much speculation about the actual location of the filming, and St Ives has been hotly tipped as one of the places where filming may take place.  It is also said that Penelope Cruz is to star alongside Johnny Depp  in the movie, and that previous co-stars Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly will not be making a reappearance. At this time, nothing has been confirmed, so we really still are at the speculation stage!

The Mermaid of Zennor- a Cornish Premiere and The Sleeping Beauty (Aurora’s Wedding)

Many discoveries will be made as the Mermaid’s story unfolds both on land and beneath the sea.

The Sleeping Beauty (Aurora’s Wedding)

Duchy Ballet’s talented young dancers will dance alongside guest artists trained at the Bolshoi Ballet in this glittering production performed to Tchaikovsky’s music . Fairytale characters and fabulous jewels celebrate the wedding of Aurora and her handsome Prince after the jealous wicked fairy, Carabosse, is defeated by the ever-watchful Lilac Fairy.
